Testament at IJsselhal, Zwolle, The Netherlands – 11th of October 1987.
For the second time in a year, Testament visited our country again. Since their legendary Dynamo performance (see previous post) they have become crowd favourites. And that became clearly noticeable during the photo shoot on the roof of the IJsselhal. My reporter colleague Donald Wever lured the band a little further to the edge of the roof, something that certainly did not go unnoticed by the waiting fans on the parking lot. There was some commotion and some fans even climbed onto the roof just to shake hands with some of the band members. After this nice intermezzo, the band once again put on a strong show. And thus consolidated their ever-growing fan base.
