Lee Aaron at Noorderligt, Tilburg, The Netherlands – 18th of May 1985.

Due to a very tight schedule, this event started in early evening at 5 pm. Canadian singer Lee Aaron, supporting Bon Jovi on this short European tour, gave a dazzling opening to the show, and wrapped the audience around her fingers with charm. Her music is heavy, interspersed with exciting rock and melody. After this succesful gig, a small and cozy press conference was organized with Lee on a terrace in front of the hotel. Despite the strict timeframe, due to their whole entourage having to catch the ferry to England the same evening, she answered as many questions as possible from the gathered press. This sympathetic gesture was widely appreciated, and the “Metal Queen” left a very good impression. Lucky for us, Lee would visit the Netherlands many more times in the years ahead.
