Helloween at Noorderligt, Tilburg, The Netherlands – 28th of March 1987.
Singer/guitarist Kai Hansen had problems singing and playing the guitar at the same time during performances so the band started looking for a frontman to take on this task. Helloween found the greatly talented 18 year old Michael Kiske, singer of a local Hamburg band called Ill Prophecy. With this new acquisition, “Keeper of the Seven Keys, part I” was recorded, which was a huge hit with both the press and the public. Kiske's vocals exactly matched the new group’s sound, and many curious spectators came to this sold-out show. All of this was a harbinger of a bright future on the metal landscape.
