Pretty Maids at Earthquake Festival 1985, De Kegelaar, Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands, 23rd March 1985

After almost an hour of being graced by Metal/Hard Rock conferrer Bram Beton who filled the unprecedented long waiting time with all kinds of jokes and fun, Pretty Maids finally started. This Danish hard rock/heavy metal band from Horsens, Denmark had recently signed with CBS records and their first long-play debut studio album “Red, Hot and Heavy” got released. Their opening act was convincing, and the audience got what they came for. We knew after this performance that we would encounter them more than a few times more ……
