Tysondog at Earthquake Festival 1985, De Kegelaar, Kaatsheuvel, The Netherlands, 23rd March 1985

Due to interview obligations you sometimes have to miss, or only see, part of a band’s performance. This was the case with this band, who drew our attention since the release of their debut single “Eat the Rich” in 1983 on Neat records from Newcastle (Northern England). This record label were in those years, the purveyor to the court of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal (NWOBHM). Tysondog was blessed with a golden future, which was even more reinforced by the fact that their debut album “Beware of the Dog” was produced by none other than Cronos of Venom. Luckily on our way to the next interview, we caught a snippet of “Eat the Rich”.
