Vengeance at Dynamo Open Air, Eindhoven, The Netherlands, 8th of June 1987.

With the slogan: “DO YOU HATE HARDROCK??? THEN I GUESS YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN VENGEANCE !!!!!” this band conquered every stage on the Dutch club scene and left a trail of stunning shows behind them. Since it’s early beginnings, the band was already remarkable. And with the recruitment of former Bodine guitarist Arjan Anthony Lucassen, who became years later also known as the creative mastermind behind the famous Ayreon project, they had the possibility to craft their skills into something fantastic. The weather in the Netherlands is well known for its rain, and so it was this day at Dynamo Open Air. It was pouring like hell, but Vengeance would not be Vengeance if they didn’t put their heart and soul into performing a great show with lots of entertainment, and so, nobody cared about getting soaked....
