Dokken at Rijnhal, Arnhem, The Netherlands, 15th of March 1988.
Dokken returned back on the road, supporting AC/DC during their European tour, to promote their fourth studio album “Back for the Attack”(1987). The follow-up of their platinum selling previous album “Under Lock And Key”(1985). The expectations of the management and the record company were high. And “Back for the Attack” was expected to be bigger than its predecessor. The album contained a lot of strong anthems and included also the theme song from the popular Freddy Kruger horror franchise “A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors”. The record sold 1,5 million units worldwide, despite this success and due to internal struggles inside the band the split came during the US Monsters Of Rock stadium tour in 1988. In the years to come the band reincarnated in various line-ups, but In Arnhem we saw the original band in all its glory.
